I am attempting to make a transition from the sales department and into the Business Analytics department of the Financial Services company I work for. I have already passed the first, behavioral interview that included the generic “tell me a time when… “ questions and also a few Management Consulting questions such as “calculate how many phone calls per day are made from the empire state building”.
I have a second interview next Tuesday that I believe is going to focus heavily on the technical side of the job (SQL, Pivot Tables, various analytical tasks).
If you have been a Business Analyst before, or currently are one, and had to advise someone on the top things to crash course over a 4 day time window in order give themselves the highest chance of success, what would they be?
Also, if you have any online resources for this that is also helpful. Thank you all in advance!
