I applied to a tech small firm in my city. The online application was very user friendly. When I got towards the end of the application, the questions on there kinda made me feel a little uncomfortable. One of them asked me about my sexual orientation and the other question asked me if I was trans. I thought you weren’t allowed to ask these kinds of questions; that’s why I was so confused.
Are they legally allowed to ask these questions? Do you think they’re just asking these questions so they could fill in a quota (if that’s still a thing idk)? I mean I’m a straight cis male, but I don’t think that should matter, right?
