English College Graduate seeking career path advice

Hi everyone!

So I have just graduated university during this pandemic with a BA in English. I’ve been job searching for around two months or more looking for full time jobs so I can start getting out on my own (lucky enough to live with family).

I understand that unemployment rates are high and businesses aren’t really in office at the moment so I understand that I’m not heading back about applications.

My problem is that during my job search I’m honestly not finding any type of career that seems the least bit appealing. Even though I have an English degree, I focused mostly on literature and I am terrible at grammar. I’m not confident in my writing at all for me to do it as a full time job. Honestly my degree doesn’t mean much to me because I couldn’t settle on a major throughout school.

– I was wondering if there was any career paths you’d recommend to me? I don’t want it writing or editing focused. I don’t want to work reception/front desk jobs because of my anxiety but I’ll take what I can get as a foot in the door. I’m just trying to find a path that I can focus on.

I’m worried that I don’t really have a good applicable skill. I’m decent at communication and art but I don’t find these skills very marketable.

-So my second question: are there any great certification programs to do that gives you a really great applicable/marketable skill?

Thank you so much!

TLDR:
