My old HR professor told us to ask about turnovers, both to sound professional and to be aware of the stress levels in the company we’re going to apply for, but it seems like an awkward and strange thing to ask about. Like, why should I ask the kill rate when I’ve barely started? I used to ask it alot when I was younger, and didn’t know better, and from where I was from, they were impressed and intimidated that I cared about the numbers.

But things have changed, and I’m now in LA, where people are more savvy.

So, what’s something smart and helpful that you guys have asked your panel when they give you the floor?

For context, I’m applying for a learning and dev position in corporate. Thanks in advance!
