Greetings.

I currently have a problem that I believe is very common nowadays, though that doesnt make it any easier to deal with. I have always struggled with findind a “passion” or whatever you want to call it, as I’ve always had many different hobbies and interests in various fields. I am currently 19 years old and i’ve just finished my first year of university studies, and more specifically – Creative Business & Media Management in the Netherlands . I chose it on the basis of some of my interests. After a year has passed, i still find the study course to be interesting, though i am unsure whether I would be satisfied working in the field for the many years after graduation (im worried about feeling unfulfilled or not finding purpouse in my work, which has become a modern-day pandemic). I have recently been considering going back to my home country to study something entirely different – Philology (or language studies), as languages have also always interested me, with the possible end-goal of working as a teacher after graduation. I have been thinking about it every day for the last month, considering different aspects, positives and negatives, and neither choice seems to stick out as the “truly better one”.

Therefore, I am asking all of you for some advice on what you think I should do. I dont expect you to tell me what to do, I just need some additional opinions, maybe from people in these fields or from such with experience with this kind of problems in general.

Thanks in advance !
